| + | Play as a bold adventurer whose only goal in life is to face a worthy adversary. This game will be combat-heavy, but not involve actually killing anything, ever. Instead, your goal will be to subdue and tame the wildest of creatures. Combat will focus on dodging, blocking, grappling, and generally tiring out and dominating your opponent until they give in and trust that you wont hurt them. Doing anything that would actually hurt them will usually be counter-productive, as it will make them less tame and more aggressive toward you. You'd start by wrestling dogs and bears, eventually making it to dragon taming and other large creatures. | ||

| + | If you manage to kill something, your character will be overcome with guilt, and make it clear that this is not the goal of the game. However, if you kill things consistently it should allow you to continue and get a more bloodthirsty outlook. This path leads to a much darker ending, where you destroy every magnificent creature you find and then look out over the ruined world from your mountain top. | ||

| + | Since the goal of the game is to find a worthy opponent, losing in any battle should produce a meaningful ending. However, it should be made difficult enough to lose at first that players will have plenty of time to get into their role and get excited about what they are doing. They shouldn't want to go down, but when they do, it should be a meaningful experience and a fitting end for their gameplay session. Starting a fresh game shouldn't force you to go through the easy guys though. The game should evaluate your performance as you go, and have the hero select targets that match what your ability level seems to be. | ||

| + | What happens if you defeat the most powerful things the game can throw at you? I don't know. Perhaps a dramatic riding out into the sunset sort of ending would happen. What should your character learn from these experiences? | ||
